This training explores how the social construct of race was created to divide and conquer people (especially poor whites and people of color). Using first-person historical narratives, the training asks the question, “What is the cost of racism for people of color?”, “How does racism impact white people?”, and “How we can we resist the divide and conquer strategy in order to unite and build?”.

The Beyond Divide and Conquer Training emphasizes the influence of racism in the personal, institutional, and cultural spheres while examining the concepts of “power” and the impact it has on internalized racial superiority and/or inferiority.

In this interactive training with associated engaging discussions, we will explore strategies to dismantle divides and foster a sense of togetherness. We will learn steps to challenge systemic racism, promote inclusivity, and build a more equitable society.
